New Vases & Eco-Friendly Products

Dragonfly Engraved Vase

We recently reacquired a large batch of unique products from a shop we’d been consigning with, and they’ve been making their way online here all week. Some things are in our new Vases & More Containers category, while others are in Eco-Friendly Drinkware. All of these items are considered eco-friendly though, since they were all rescued from thrift stores or lonely closets instead of being produced newly for us. All these new items are on sale for a limited time, and they’re just the thing for a memorable Mother’s Day!

Before we sandblasted all our glassware, my artistic focus was on reclaimed decorative home goods that I could engrave my own artwork onto, free-handed. These pieces are all very special, since we don’t really work with vases and home decor much anymore, and I rarely find the time to engrave things by hand anymore.

The Eco-Friendly drinkware pieces are limited-edition reclaimed cups, some of which have been sandblasted with our most popular designs, while others have been hand-engraved (do you know how much I love jellyfish?). Grab them up before they’re gone forever!

Embracing Trees wine glasses

Tree of Life wine glasses

Almost a year ago, I made a very special pair of wine glasses for a couple to use at their wedding. I found a nice pair of thrift store glasses that deserved a new life, and came up with this intertwined tree design to put on them. It was the bride’s idea to have this image of the trees embracing each other, and I fell in love with the idea. I decided to hand-engrave the artwork using my rotary tool, instead of sandblasting them, which is easier to do on the curved surface of a wine glass, and would really infuse each piece with its own character.

These are some photos taken at their wedding (used with permission).
