Custom Orders

To cover the time it takes to iron out the details, we charge an hourly rate for all custom design work. If you’d just like text, or you have black & white vector artwork (or a high-resolution black & white image), it will speed things up tremendously. If you’d like me to draw a design from scratch, it’s going to take longer, but I’ll give you an estimate before we begin.

::: Rates for Custom Etching :::

$40 per hour of design work, with a $20 minimum for each order.

Hours are charged in 15 min. increments.

Design work includes research, original sketches, color conversion to solid black & white, digital retouching, tracing, vectorizing and any revisions you request.

Extra fees will apply if you’d like etching over an area larger than 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall, or on both sides of an item.

Prices of actual products and shipping are not included in the custom design fee. The number of items you’d like with your custom artwork on them will have no effect on the custom design fee.

Design work fees don’t include the time it takes to make the actual sandblasting stencil we’ll use, or masking the items, or the sandblasting itself, or any washing, packaging or otherwise handling of your awesome customized stuff. That’s all covered in the product price, so nothing else unexpected will get tacked on, we promise.

We do not manufacture glassware items ourselves, so availability of colors and quantities is limited to what we can find.


Returns & Exchanges

Satisfaction is guaranteed! If you are not completely satisfied with any item that you have ordered, return your purchase within ten days to receive an exchange, credit or refund (except custom-made or personalized items, which are not returnable). Please package glass items carefully as they are very fragile! We’re unable to refund shipping charges.


Shipping

Most items are shipped within 1-4 days of ordering, either First Class mail (7-10 days), Priority Mail (2-3 days), or through Fedex (4-7 days), based on weight, size of the package, and the destination it’s traveling to. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number when we’re shipping your order.

Priority Mail shipping includes insurance and Delivery Confirmation. Fedex includes insurance and tracking as well. This doesn’t require a signature, so packages may be left on doorsteps or unsecure locations, as the postal employee sees fit. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. (Please note: as far as we can tell, insurance does not cover theft after delivery has occurred.)

Please ask us to add Signature Confirmation for $1.70 if you would like the mailperson to require a signature upon delivery (if you’re not home, they will ask you to pick up the package in person at the Post office within a few days, or it will be returned). Shipping items to a work address is also a good idea, unless you’re likely to be home to receive the package.

Our glassware is packaged very carefully to withstand transit, but sometimes accidents happen. If something arrives broken, please contact us immediately so we can work something out!

Please contact us immediately if you feel your package has been lost or damaged, since insurance claims must be filed within a short period of time. If it’s determined that your package was delivered successfully, but was stolen after delivery, we will replace items up to $30 (retail value). After that, we can offer our wholesale prices for replacements.

Theft and breakage very rarely occur, so we’re trying to create a fair system where no one has to pay too much.
